OneQuest is committed to improving the health of People and the Planet, so we have pledged to contribute 1% of our profit to Ocean Conservation.

Our Pledge aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals - Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development

14.2 - By 2020, sustainably manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems to avoid significant adverse impacts, including by strengthening their resilience, and take action for their restoration in order to achieve healthy and productive oceans.

14.4 - By 2020, effectively regulate harvesting and end overfishing, illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing and destructive fishing practices and implement science-based management plans, in order to restore fish stocks in the shortest time feasible, at least to levels that can produce maximum sustainable yield as determined by their biological characteristics.

The charities we have identified as taking direct action on these SDG’s are Sea Shepherd and the Great Barrier Reef Legacy.

Water's Wisdom

Embracing the profound interconnectedness of our bodies and the oceans, we journey through personal wellness and global conservation, understanding that our individual health and the planet's wellbeing are intricately intertwined, guiding us towards mindful living and dedicated care for our shared home.

Our bodies and the vast oceans share a striking similarity - both are primarily composed of water. Our bodies, consisting of about 60-70% water, rely on this vital element for all essential functions. Similarly, the oceans, making up more than 70% of the Earth's surface, are teeming with diverse life, thanks to this universal solvent. Water, the life-linking fluid, binds all forms of existence on our planet. It courses through our bodies, carrying crucial nutrients and oxygen to our cells, aiding in the removal of waste, and acting as a conduit of energy and information. Mirroring this, the ocean currents disperse nutrients, convey signals for marine life, infuse oxygen into our atmosphere, and support life beyond their own boundaries.

Shifts within our bodies can resonate across our physical, emotional, and mental landscape. Likewise, transformations in the ocean, such as escalating temperatures or pollution levels, can ripple through marine ecosystems, disrupt ocean currents, and alter weather patterns on a global scale. These intertwined destinies highlight the need for a comprehensive view towards our personal wellbeing and the broader issues impacting our oceans. In this spirit of unity, OneQuest has collaborated with two dedicated Ocean Conservation charities, contributing towards a healthier, more vibrant planet. We hold the conviction that our well-being and the planet's health are intricately linked and, in this togetherness, we can spark meaningful change.
